How does the Thermal comfort scene work in summer season?

TaHoma offers you pre-programming to automate your openings based on the devices in your setup. In summer, four configurations are possible.

Dependind on your equipment:

Thanks to the outdoor luminosity sensors, TaHoma will anticipate thermal discomfort with a preventive closure of the roller shutters as soon as they are exposed to the sun. They open when the brightness is low, eliminating the risk of overheating.
TaHoma offers a choice between 5 protection modes* to select the appropriate level between thermal performance and brightness.
*These modes impact the levels of closure/opening
- Partial or total closure (60% to 100%*) if above 40 lux
- Partial opening between 20k and 5k lux
- Full opening (100%) if below 3K lux
*Depending of the protection level chosen - Default configuration (protection mode 4)
Thanks to the indoor temperature sensors, TaHoma will anticipate thermal discomfort with a preventive closure of the roller shutters as soon as it gets warm inside. They open at dusk when there is no longer a risk of overheating.

TaHoma offers a choice between 5 protection modes* to select the appropriate level between thermal performance and brightness.
*These modes impact the triggered temperature and the levels of closure/opening.
- Partial closure (60% to 80%) during the day as long as the temperature is below a threshold temperature ranging from 22°c to 26°c
- Full or nearly full closure (60% to 100%) if the temperature exceeds a threshold temperature between 24°c and 28°c
- 100% opening at dusk
Default configuration (protection mode 4)

They open at dusk when the risk of overheating diminishes.

Considering both external temperature and brightness ensures the best balance between visual comfort and sun protection:
- Partially close to prevent overheating (low temperature or low brightness)
- Fully close if overheating is confirmed (high temperature and high brightness)

- Partial closure (between 0% and 60%) for low brightness (below 20K lux) and temperature above a threshold temperature between 24°C and 28°C
- Full opening for low brightness (below 20K lux) and temperature above a threshold temperature between 22°C and 26°C

Thanks to the twilight clock, TaHoma anticipates thermal discomfort by preemptively closing the roller shutters as soon as they're exposed to the sun (based on the time of day and their exposure). They open at dusk when there is no longer a risk of overheating.
