The ingress protection code of Ysia Patio is (IP) 44. So the remote has high resistance against shocks, falls and water splashes.
You can use it outside, but it must be stored indoors on its wall support.
Before pairing a product, you must create the channel that controls it.
You can create 16 product/group channels.

3. Choose a name to describe and personalize your channel
You can personalize the name among a list of pre-defined name (Product name, South, North, Terrace etc.) or create your own name with a virtual keyboard (max 20 characters).
Once your channel is created, you can pair a new equipment to it.

For a Somfy radio motor: Press and hold 3 seconds the prog button on the back of the individual control point until the drive moves up and down
3. Pair the new equipement
If the remote control screen is black, press any button to turn it on. This press will have no effect and will only light up the Ysia screen.
Briefly press the prog button in the back of the Ysia Patio io. The motor makes a brief up and down movement.
The Ysia Patio io is paired with the equipment and ready to be used!
No, pictogram is not editable and linked to product type.
But you can edit the name of the channel (20 charcaters max.) in the settings of the remote contol.
Please always be sure to unpair all your products before resetting the remote.
Resetting the remote doesn’t unpair the linked/paired products.
If you have already reset the remote control without first unpairing the products, you will need to reset these products so that the remote control no longer controls them.
To reset Ysia Patio io, go in the Settings menu, then Remote settings and select Reset remote.

When choosing type of product in channel’s creation, select the dedicated section:
By default, it will be adjusted automatically between 3 levels depending on ambient brightness:
You can change it manually in settings-> remote settings -> brightness -> manually from 5 to 100%.
If you let it at 100%, it will affect the battery life.
To edit an existing channel of your remote control go in the Settings menu and select Channel settings.

Manu mode allows you to unactivate confort automatisms on the products linked, paired to your Ysia patio io. Confort automatisms are scenarios, timers, sun sensor, rain if set in confort mode (wind is a security sensor and can’t be unactivated).
Via the Settings menu, select Channel settings and then Automatism management. Or you can do it directly in the corresponding channel, in driving mode by pressing validation button 3s.
You can switch from Manu to Auto mode or Auto to Manu (motor linked makes a feedback).
«M» is displayed on the corner when manu mode is activated, nothing when auto is activated.
When the battery level is at a critical level, a special icon will be displayed in the corner of the screen.
When this icon appears, the remote control can still be used for about a month before the battery dies. After this, it will be mandatory to change the batteries (screen will be off).
1. Press in the hole on the back of the control point to release the battery compartment.
Use a pen or a screwdriver (2.8mm max), no screws, needles or other points.
2. Install the batteries or replace the existing ones.

3. Slide the battery compartment back into the remote control.
Due to safety standard evolution (IEC 62368-1), legislation is stricter for battery access conditions and require the usage of a tool or two timely separated motions to access the battery.
Reminder: autonomy with a normal usage is 2 years before changing the batteries.
Number of characters is limited to 20. You can modify and personnalize the name via the Channel settings menu.

Pergola tilt only and pergola tilting retractable have 2 different profiles. Check that you select the good profile.
With your Ysia Patio io, only groups with products from the same family can be piloted.
With Ysia Patio io you can control a group of the same kind of product (roller shutters, for example). However, you cannot create and control heterogenous group (light + awning for example).

To avoid any programming issue, you need to add the new devices one at a time, going through the entire pairing process for each product.

How to create and modfify a thermal comfort scene with TaHoma?
Yes, Amy io 1 channel controls including Amy sun protect io integrate a temperature sensor (exception of versions Amy 2 & 4 Modes io) which can be used with TaHoma to have a feedback about temperature around the control point.
It works in combination with TaHoma, where it appears as an interior temperature sensor and can be use in TaHoma pre-set or advanced scenes to optimize your house automation.

The temperature sensor feedback of Amy 1 channel io control io is deactivated by default in order to preserve the battery autonomy.
However the sensor feedback need to be activated in Connected mode before the association with TaHoma.

When Amy judges that it no longer has sufficient energy to ensure the correct sending of a radio command, it blocks the use of the commands and no longer sends light feedback to alert the user. Prior to this, the luminous feedback (on front side) becomes weaker and weaker according to the battery voltage.
When connected to TaHoma, battery level will be accessible, and an alert will be sent if option is selected by the user.
Yes, the temperature sensor feedback activation impact the autonomy and that is why the sensor is not activated by default (except fot Amy sun protect io controls).
But Somfy guarantee 5 years of autonomy with 4 orders per day.
Amy is for an indoor use only and can measure a temperature between 0°C and 48°C.
Only 1 channel wall-switches have a temperature sensor.
2 & 4-channels wall switches don’t embed temperature sensor.
Night cooling:
Amy sun protect io installed in a house equipped with air-conditioning:
E.g.: Program Amy sun protect io temperature at 25°C and your air-conditioning temperature above 25°C like 26°C.
Either the sun protection lower too early, I can handle more “heat” or too late, I need the sun protection to lower earlier. Amy sun protect io temperature threshold can be adjusted.
There are 5 sensitivity levels. By default, the Amy sun protect io is set on sensitivity level 3. You can reduce it to get the sun protection lower earlier for a cooler temperature or increase it to get the sun protection lower later as you can handle more “heat”. The procedure to modify the sensitivity threshold is as follow:

There are 5 different sensitivity levels that you can select using the UP and DOWN buttons based on the desired maximum target temperature that you do not want to exceed in your room. The number of flashes of the green indicator light indicates the selected level.

Amy sun protect io measures the indoor temperature every 15 minutes. The onboard intelligence analyses the temperature evolution within the room. If the temperature increase analysis predicts future thermal discomfort, Amy sun protect io will automatically send a down order to the motorised sun protection.
The closure position will depend on the sun protection type:
to keep visual comfort with natural light coming in the room.
Note: If the sun protection is closed, Amy sun protect io will never open the sun protection for safety reason.
To reach the best performances of the sensor (accuracy and repeatability), favor wall mounting. Temperature measurement will be more consistent with temperature felt. To ensure a good temperature measurement, please follow the positioning recommendations:
Even if the Amy sun protect io automatism has been developed to avoid unwanted activations, it is better to deactivate Amy sun protect io automatism in winter period or whenever you don’t need it.
To deactivate Amy sun protect io, it is simple: You just have to slide the toggle to the left.

The call station is the device that allows your visitors to make a call. It must be connected to the indoor monitor by a 2-wire electrical cable (not a telephone cable)

How do I connect the V®500 Connect to the Somfy Protect app?
If the monitor displays a blue screen instead of video, check that the connections on the back of the call station and monitor are correctly inserted.
Make sure the two wires from the call station are inserted up to the stops on the CS/Call station terminal [7-2] (the polarity is not important).
Check that the cables are correctly inserted in the terminals by pulling slightly on them, then pass them through the notch provided (D).
Check that the call station cables are correctly inserted in the M+/M- terminals (A). The call station button should light up.
Using scenes defined on TaHoma® allows you to automate actions and to also trigger them from your Somfy Protect app.
You can import up to two TaHoma® scenes into the Somfy Protect app.
To do this, go to the menu: My devices > Connected video doorphone > TaHoma® scenes
The TaHoma® scene list will open. Follow the step-by-step instructions in the Somfy Protect app.
The added scenes appear in the connected video doorphone tab.
This means you are using different email addresses to access your TaHoma® and Somfy Protect apps. To import your TaHoma® scenes into Somfy Protect, the email address used for the Somfy Protect account must be the same email address used for your TaHoma® account.

Step 1: Identify the model of your installed video doorphone, because this is one of the first questions when connecting to the Somfy Protect App:
Step 2: Disconnect the video doorphone from the power supply,
Step 3: Uninstall (or remove) the indoor monitor
Step 4: Connect the connectivity module to the indoor monitor and fixe it on the wall
Step 5: Power on the connected video doorphone.
Step 4: Connect your video doorphone to the Somfy Protect application.
1. Unhook the indoor monitor from its mounting wall by pulling it upwards.
2. Leave the mounting wall in place.
3. Memorize or take a photo of the connection on the back of the monitor, in order to locate the power cables (DC 24V terminal block) and the outdoor panel (CS/Call station terminal block).
4. Without unscrewing the blue cable connectors , unplug all the connectors present to release the monitor.
If you have a second monitor, it is not compatible with the connectivity module. It will no longer be possible to answer to a visitor's call. However, you can continue to use it to control Somfy equipment via radio (RTS/io) and launch TaHoma® scenarios (VR500 PRO io monitor only).
5. Identify the 2 power wires connected to the DC 24V terminal block, noting the polarity (+ and -) and identify the 2 wires from the door panel connected to the CS/Call station terminal block. Polarity does not matter.
6. Use the screwdriver provided to unscrew the blue connectors from the identified cables. These will no longer be used.
1. Place the indoor monitor on a support (a table): in the direction shown below (screen down):
2. Without plugging it in, position the connectivity module on the back of the monitor in the orientation below (Somfy logos are in the same direction):
3. Connect the Connectivity module connection cables to the back of the monitor:
4. Position the Connectivity module on the back of the monitor, according to the marks shown below (A).
5. While holding it down, slide the connectivity module upwards until it stops (B).
6. Once fixed, make sure that no cables are sticking out
7. Strip the power supply and Outdoor panel cables identified previously to a length of 10 mm.
8. On the back of the Connectivity module, connect the 2 power wires onto the DC 24V terminal block (7-1), respecting the polarity.
Insert the wires as far as they will go.
9. Connect the 2 wires of the Outdoor panel onto the CS/Call station terminal block (2) as far as they will go. Polarity doesn't matter. Check that the cables are properly inserted into the terminal blocks by pulling them lightly, then pass them through the notch (3). If the cables (power supply/door station) do not come out of the wall, do not pass them through the mounting wall and use the cable channel (4).
10. Secure the assembly to the mounting bracket by sliding it down to the stop.
When you try to launch a TaHoma scene from the Somfy Protect app, you get the message: "Operation not possible."
If you get this message, please contact Somfy Customer Service.
Check that the video doorphone is properly connected to the power supply. If the LED lights up (steady or flashing), the screen should light up.
