What happens to my scenes, smarts and schedules when switching from TaHoma Classic to TaHoma by Somfy app?


TaHoma by Somfy offers a new experience so there are some differences in terms of management of these features.

  • Scenarios become manual scenes, they will be automatically transformed.​
  • The agenda has been re-designed and becomes a list of scheduled scenes, you might have to choose again the days on which they should play.
  • Smarts become advanced scenes:
    • For smart using "Day types" and periods, they will be de-activated as day types do not exist with TaHoma. However, you will easily be able to re-activate them but by using a different type of scheduling.
    • For smart using "or" conditions, 2 options:
      • For a smart such as "When it's <16° and during the week between 8 and 9 pm or during the weekend between 9 and 10 pm" (with 2 different timing conditions), the smart will be divided into 2 scenes:​ (When it's <16° and during the week at 8pm​ and When it's <16° and on the weekend at 9 pm.​
      • Other smarts using an "or" condition will be automatically transferred
    • For any smart using Periods of time, such as "From Jan 12th to Jun 20th", the smart will be deactivated. You will be able to re-activate it. ​
