The Oximo Solar io motorised system is eco-designed to comply with the requirements of the ACT FOR GREEN label.
It centralises control of all your motorised roller shutters at once and schedules shutters to open and close automatically in sync with other appliances (such as lights for instance). Solar-powered roller shutters are joining the world of the smart home, and can be voice-controlled!

The Oximo Solar io eco-system is also designed to be responsible and meet the requirements of the ACT FOR GREEN label.
The carbon footprint counts greenhouse gas emissions over the entire life cycle of the product, from the extraction of raw materials to its end of life. This calculation is made according to a recognized international standard (ISO 14025) and is verified externally by Bureau Veritas. *The carbon footprint corresponds to a specific commercial reference. You will get a notification on your smartphone (via Tahoma) and NINA in case the battery is low.
Depending on the size of the shutter (torque) the Oximo Solar io can operate a minimum of 45 days (10Nm) up to 100 days (3Nm).
The solar panel of the Oximo Solar io motorised system does not need direct sun to recharge the battery.
Only brightness is necessary, it only has to see the sky.
Except if the solar panel is completely shadowed, most of time the oximo solar io solar panel will get enough energy to recharge the battery (especially on 3 & 6Nm).
Neither is better than the other, the environmental impacts are just different throughout the solutions' lifecycles. The environmental indicators for the Oximo solar io solution aren't as good for ozone, but better for carbon compared with an equivalent standard solution.
