Keep your home from 4 to 7°C cooler during heat peaks (1)

Your windows are like radiators. Every square metre of window in your home that is directly exposed to the sun emits 500W of power – a lot of extra heat inside.

But when you have motorised and automated window coverings, they insulate your windows and block the sun, preventing your home from heating up – without thinking about it.

HOW?

By automating your window coverings (roller shutters, external venetian blinds) they adjust automatically to the right position, at the right moment, even away from home. You can reduce your air-conditioning usage by up to 70% (2) and thus, minimise your carbon footprint.

To go a step further toward home automation, you can add a sun sensor to your installation and to TaHoma app to adjust window coverings automatically based on outside temperatures and the sun’s rays. Easily placed on the façade outside, this sensor sends the measured light intensity to the TaHoma app. In case of extensive sunshine, the window coverings automatically adjust to the required position. When the sun has disappeared, they will automatically pull up again if desired.
